Quinceañera DJ in Miami

A quinceañera happens once. Klaus Hidalgo has spent 14+ years packing dance floors at Miami clubs like Rosario, Candela and Pier 5, and he brings that same energy to your daughter's party: his own sound and lighting, and music in Spanish and English so everyone dances, from grandma to her friends.

A quince is built moment by moment

A quinceañera isn't a club night. It follows a script: the grand entrance, the presentation, the vals, the toast, the surprise dance. Every moment needs its song at exactly the right second, and the dance floor can't go cold in between.

Before the event, Klaus goes over the order of the night with you and picks the songs for each part. On the day, you enjoy the party; he makes sure everything plays on cue.

01

Grand entrance & presentation

The song she walks in to and the moment she's presented to her guests. The cue is agreed in advance so the entrance lands perfectly.

02

The vals

The waltz with her father, godparents and chambelanes. Classic, modern or a blend, timed to the choreography if there is one.

03

Crowning & shoe change

The traditional moments, with the music your family chooses.

04

Toasts

A microphone for parents' and godparents' speeches, with soft music underneath.

05

Surprise dance

If she and her court rehearse a routine, Klaus gets the audio ahead of time and drops it right on cue.

06

The party

Current and old-school reggaeton, salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, English pop and the classics the parents ask for.

Music for three generations

In Miami, a quinceañera brings three generations and several countries into one room. Grandparents want salsa and merengue, parents want '90s and 2000s classics, and her friends want the reggaeton and pop that's playing right now.

Klaus blends all of it without breaks, in Spanish and English, and adjusts to what he sees on the floor. Reading a crowd is what he does every weekend in Miami clubs. Must-play songs and do-not-play songs go on the list ahead of time.

Sweet 16 parties too

Planning a Sweet 16 instead? Same approach: a big entrance, the candle ceremony, a special dance and a floor that doesn't stop. Klaus plays the hits teens actually request, plus the classics for the parents.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a DJ cost for a quinceañera in Miami?
It depends on the number of hours, the guest count and what the venue needs in sound and lighting. Message Klaus on WhatsApp with your date, venue and expected guests, and he'll send you a quote. To understand how DJ pricing works, read our Miami DJ pricing guide.
How many songs do you need for a quinceañera?
A 5-hour party plays roughly 80 to 100 songs. You don't have to pick them all: just choose the songs for the key moments (entrance, vals, surprise dance) plus a list of favorites and songs to avoid. The DJ handles the rest based on the crowd.
Does Klaus coordinate the vals and the surprise dance?
Yes. Before the event you decide which song goes with each moment, and he receives the audio for any edited choreography track. On the day, he plays it exactly on cue.
Can the announcements be in both Spanish and English?
Yes. Klaus is fluent in both, so the presentation and announcements can be done bilingually.
Does Klaus play Sweet 16 parties?
Yes. Sweet 16s, quinceañeras and other milestone birthdays in Miami-Dade and Broward.
Does Klaus play the hora loca music?
Yes, he builds the hora loca set. Dancers, stilt walkers or LED robots are booked by the family through an hora loca company; Klaus coordinates the entrance and music with them.
How far in advance should I book?
Saturdays fill up first. Booking 2 to 4 months ahead is ideal. If your date is sooner, message anyway to check availability.
