Klaus Hidalgo was born in Piura, Peru, the home of the tondero. He started in Peruvian clubs, moved through Colombia and now plays Miami clubs like Rosario, Candela and Pier 5. If you're planning a Peruvian celebration in Miami (a wedding, a quince, a birthday or Fiestas Patrias), you've found a DJ who grew up with the music.
Has played: Rosario · Candela · TuCandela · Pier 5 · Andrés Carne de Res · Mayami · El Patio · SLS · Black Bird
Klaus has spent 14+ years behind the decks. He built his career in Peruvian clubs, continued in Colombia and landed in Miami, where he has played more than 12 clubs: Rosario, Candela, TuCandela, Pier 5, Andrés Carne de Res, Mayami and El Patio, among others.
That mix is exactly what a Peruvian party in Miami needs: someone who knows which song gets the uncles jumping, and who keeps the floor full for guests from everywhere else too.
A Peruvian party has its own flow. Peruvian cumbia that everyone sings along to, salsa for the whole family, reggaeton for the younger crowd and, when the night peaks, the hora loca. Klaus knows when to play each one because it's the music he grew up with.

Bachata, merengue, English pop and house music so nobody feels left out.
In Peru, the hora loca is practically mandatory at weddings and quinces: hats, masks, whistles and a floor that fills up instantly. If you book an hora loca show, Klaus builds the music: cumbia, huaylas, reggaeton and the songs nobody can stop shouting along to. He coordinates the entrance and finale with the entertainment company.
Many Peruvian weddings in Miami bring a Peruvian family together with one from another country. Klaus blends Peruvian music with salsa, bachata and English classics, and makes announcements in English and Spanish. He also honors family traditions like the cake ribbon pull (las cintas de la torta): just tell him when it happens.
